Create Portfolio

 

How to enable students access your portfolio ?

 

 

 

UUM LMS is integrated with Student Information System(SIS). Steps below

 

 

 

will guide you how to make your Portfolio available and your students

 

 

 

officially registered with SIS  subscribe your LMS portfolio  automatically.

       

 

 

 

Step 1

Fetch your Course :

Fetching course will automatically fetch the students currently

registered with SIS.

(i)   Click 'My Portfolio' icon at the top of the screen.

(ii)  Click 'Fetch Course' button.

(iii)  Activate the course at 'My Courses This Semester' menu.

(iv)  If you have taught the subject before, the system will

       prompt :

 

(a) Create a new course - will create a new empty portfolio

 

(b) Available Course - use portfolio with previous teaching

 

resources.

 

(c) Activate the course.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Re-fetch Student

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2

 View the List of Students.  

(i)   In 'My Portfolio Manager' screen, choose the subject then

      click 'Manage' button. 

 

(ii) Under Manager Menu, click User Manager.

   
Note   :

If in the listing appear  Matrik # [Unregistered email users !] 

 

Please report at Ext 5151 because this student may experience 

 

problem with enrollment in your portfolio.

   

How to get the latest list of students registered with SIS?

Repeat steps below immediately after Add Drop session to get the latest list.

  

 Step 1

Get List of Students currently registered with SIS.

 

(i)    Under Manager Menu, click Fetch Students

 

(ii)   The screen will display a list of all your current students. 

 

(iii)  Click on "Submit"  button to run the fetching process.
