Q :

What is LMS?

 

 

 

 

A :

LMS (http://www.learncare.uum.edu.my) is a LearningCare Management

 

 

System that UUM has adopted to enhance student's online learning

 

 

collaboration. Lecturers may use LMS to enhance teaching and learning

 

 

such as:

 

 

- provide online resources

 

 

- accessing student performance and gathering student feedback

Q :

How do I get assistance logging into the LMS?

 

 

 

 

A :

LMS support may be requested as follows :-

 

 

- Approach LMS Helpdesk in Computer Centre or UTLC  for  

 

 

  walk-in support.

 

 

- Contact ext. 4059 / 5151 for phone support

Q :

I can't remember LMS login username or password.

 

 

What should I do?

 

 

 

 

A :

Approach LMS Helpdesk in Computer Centre or UTLC  for walk-in support.

Q :

Why other student in my course can see this subject in the LMS but

 

 

I cannot?

 

 

 

 

A :

This probably means that your lecturer does not yet enrolled your id in

 

 

this subject. Contact your lecturer to make the subject available.

Q :

Why aren't all my enrolled subjects available on LMS?

 

 

 

 

A :

Only subject sites that have been made available by your lecturer will be

 

 

listed under 'Portfolio Subscribed'.  Check with your lecturer to see if they

 

 

are using UUM LMS for your subject.

Q :

Why can't I find some subject materials, e.g. lecturers notes in my subject?

 

 

 

 

A :

If you cannot see some subject materials you should contact your lecturer

 

 

to ask if the materials have been made available to students yet.
